When I was younger, I wasn’t really thinking about college courses, however, the very first thing that made me interested in mechanics was, strangely, a retractable ball point pen. It was fascinated watching the mechanism work through a clear plastic. Throughout the years, I became curious how things work the way they do. Be it an engine, a turbine, a gun, anything and everything with moving parts was incredibly interesting. I had decided that I wanted to be an engineer! I wanted to make something that people can see and use everyday. My handiwork being spread around and used by people.
The best advice I can give is that you should push through your fear. While the board exam gets closer and closer, you will get more and more scared. Just keep on going! Always remember what you want.
Second, don’t forget that you should have a study routine. If you’re getting over-stressed, just take a break for one or two days, then get right back to studying.
My favorite part about mechreview.com is that there are no teachers. You can study at your own pace. If you’re really good at a specific module, you can breeze through it in half an hour. And if you’re having a difficult time, you can stay in a particular question for multiple hours and you are free to do so. My second favorite were the inspirational quotes. Just reading them calms me down.
